A reclusive author and imaginative girl must come together to help save Nim’s father.

Lovely film.My ten year old loved it ( so did I !!!! )
A bit sad at times,but overall a great way to spend an afternoon.
Acting great all the way through and the island setting wonderful.

Went to see this film on Bank Holiday Monday with an 8 year old and a very jaded 17 year old - both girls. They agreed the film was brilliant, sad and moving in places but ultimately a "modern fairy tale". Really enjoyable for adults and children alike. Superb acting by Jodie Foster and the girl who played Nim is, to quote my daughter, "really beautiful"!

Nim's island is an emotional yet funny film, I like it because it was good for kids and adults at the same time. There was no reasonreally why I disliked it! Overall great film definatly a 5 star rating!!
