For Sophie's wedding, Donna has invited her two lifelong best girlfriends - practical and no-nonsense Rosie (Julie Walters) and wealthy, multi-divorcee Tanya (Christine Baranski) - from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie has secretly invited three guests of her own.

This isn't much of a movie with no story real story line and only being an excuse for Abba Songs.

Compared to other musicals its just as over the top as you would expect. But this isnt a normal musical, firstly it has pop songs that are world known and secondly the cast cannot sing! Amandas voice being the best and even then not that great! Meryl streep gives a mad, very over the top performance as Donna, this performance is the worst i have ever seen her do and she has really let herself down!

This is definatly a CHICK FLICK. Or FOR ABBA FANS ONLY. if your not an abba fan why are you even considering seeing this?!?!

Its an OK film for non abba fans but i expect brilliant to those who love abba and are after a classic chick flick. I cannot emphasise how bad this film was, it wasnt a film! it wasnt about anything! and tho the ratings are high for this movie on Odeon this is only reviews from women! ! ! ! I even got a headache from how load this film was with the orfal singing that sounds like they are dieing!!!

Sorry but believe the critics this is BAD! * STAR
