I thouroughly enjoyed this film. I thought it was well written, funny, very well acted and, above all, realistic. I was just a little bit disappointed with the end, but this is only because we are used to Holliwoodian "happy endings". I recommend this film, but maybe people that only like "action movies" will need to be aware that this is NOT an action movie, but it is Very Good "food for thought"

Oh dear oh dear. The description of comedy is a very generous description of this film. There is a funny line it - just the one. My impression was that the writers then thought "Right how do we finish this film?" and decided to just put a full stop on the page where they were and go down the pub.

Every once in a while a true gem of a film comes along that makes you walk out of the cinema and just go - "WHAT a film!"

Having already watched 'Thank You for Smoking' and 'Juno' (Both of which I would highly recommend by the way) I was already fully aware of what a brilliant director Jason Reitman is and once again he didn't disappoint. 'Up in The Air' is funny, engaging, witty, clever, sexy and just has that crucial element that nobody has yet found a word for, but which separates the truly great films from the simply good ones. As usual, Reitman has cast the perfect actor to front the film along with a brilliant supporting cast. Whether you're seeing it with your partner, friend or just on your own you can't help but be engaged by how good the writing, production and acting is. It's no wonder that this film is up for so many awards.

I'm not going to waste anymore of your time selling this film because frankly it doesn't need it. Go out and watch it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
