This series of films just gets better and better, the two and a half hours just flew by.
The sad death of Heath Ledger has totally overshadowed just how good Christian Bale is as Batman, if anyone deserves an oscar from this film it's Bale.
Whilst Ledger's character is well played and chilling to the full, I think any decent actor could have donned the mask of Ther Joker and played it just as well.
Freeman and Caine are fabulous in their roles, and backed up with Oldman and Eckhart the cast is an awesome array of talent that gels and works brilliantly.
Will I buy the DVD - Too darned right I will !!!!

I really love Christian Bale, in fact he's my favorite Christian, but he pales into insignificant against Heath Ledgers stunning performance. He brings The Joker right upto date and gives him a creepy edge. The story is believable as in the first and makes Batman and co more human.
My only critisism is it should have ended with the apperance of two face. After that it dragged on a bit.
Overall don't miss this, it's a film that desevres the big screen.
