I took my daughter and some friends to see this film for her 10th birthday and it went down very well. They all really liked it and there wasn't a word from them all the time it was on. It is a beautful and very well told story - as someone else said like a modern fairytale and it was a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning!! I would recommend it to anyone!!

film very disappointing, felt it took a long time to get going, story line very dull. Would not suggest for anyone under the age of 8-9. Would liked to have seen more comic action, instead of storms at sea and bad weather.

Where to start!! My daughter of 8 seemed to like the film (although she preferred indiana jones). My son of 5 was not interested at all. I thought it was the worst load of drivel i`ve seen in a long time. I realise it is aimed at children but i think it needs to have something for the adults. I spent a lot of time wondering if the cast and crew were cringeing as much as me whilst they were making it!!!
