Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast in the feature-film adaptation of the beloved musical, bringing the timeless lyrics and melodies of iconic super group ABBA to cinema audiences.

‘Mamma Mia’ is the story of Donna (Streep) who is about to attend the wedding of Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), the spirited daughter she's raised alone. For Sophie's wedding, Donna has invited her two lifelong best girlfriends - practical and no-nonsense Rosie (Julie Walters) and wealthy, multi-divorcee Tanya (Christine Baranski) - from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie has secretly invited three guests of her own.

Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper join Streep in this celebration of a mother, a daughter and three possible dads.

The best feel-good movie I have ever seen!

I don't like musicals and so was a little reluctant to go to see Mamma Mia! However when the film started I was immediately in seventh heaven - Abba, Hot Sunny country, beautiful scenery, fantastic actors and that wonderful feel-good Abba music throughout. The storyline is enchanting. I laughed and I even cried at a couple of touching moments. Pierce Brosnan fans will love him in this role - I did! and the rest of the cast are fantastic. Even if you dont like musicals and think this is a girlie movie - go along - you will love it. My husband has been twice, as have I and our 12 year old daughter has been 4 times and intends going many more - roll on November when it will be released on DVD - it will be a much watched DVD on a cold Sunday afternoon - it is guaranteed to make you feel good!!! ENJOY!!!

Here we go again!

Absolutely fantastic feel good film. Seen it 5 times!!! and would still go again! Needs to be seen on the big screen to be appreciated before buying the DVD and watching it over and over again!
My children 8 and 5 absolutely love it and have also seen it more than once and know all the words to the cd!

Everyone needs to see it and cheer themselves up in this wet and cold English Summer! I promise you'll come out with a smile on your face.

BEST FILM EVER!!!!!!!!!
