A touching family friendly film, brought to us by Luc Jacquet, Director of ‘The March of the Penguins’.
‘The Fox & the Child’ follows a young girl living in France, who discovers a fox on route to school one day. In the months that follow, she becomes fascinated and spends her time searching out the fox, but doesn’t see it again before winter falls.

Strange ending but worth seeing

I took my 2 kids age 7 and 3 to see this film and they really enjoyed it. There are some wonderful shots of nature and it is worth seeeing just for that.
Although the kids enjoyed it they both agreed that the ending was a little too distressing for their age group.
It was almost as if the director had shot a really sad ending and had altered it to make it viewable for children.
The message that we should leave wild animals alone needed to be said but I think it could have had a more imaginative ending as up to that point the kids would have left the cinema on a high.

I loved the fox and the child it was ace? dont care what anyone else thinks it was the best film ever top 4
