This film was delightful. It reminded me in style of James and the Giant Peach - quirky but absolutely captivating. 43 y.o mum (me), fidgety 8 y.o boy and stroppy 4 y.o girl all sat transfixed during the film. Great for adults and children... plenty of subtle jokes for the adults and the indeed fantastic characters and their antics well loved by the kids. Go see it!
Funny and clever, but not really a children's film

Very funny, but a lot of the humour is adult (in the sense of dry, smart, sophisticated, etc.).
Fun entertainment !
