High school student Percy Jackson is in a bit of bother… with the gods of Mount Olympus. So much so, that they step out of his Greek mythology textbooks and into his life. It seems that someone has stolen Zeus' lightning bolt and Percy is the prime suspect.

As Percy adapts to his status as a demi-god, he and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mum, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Great film, which has made greek mythology cool to our kids.

The best kids film I have seen in a long time.

Enjoyed very much.Better than I expected.Some scenes may not be suitable for very young children or children who are sensitive or easily scared as there are mythical monsters and beheading scene,my son aged 9 was ok with it but my daughter aged 6 was a bit unsure of some scenes saying they were too scary.Storyline is great and lots of action with humour too.I now want to read the book to see how the film compares.Worth seeing.Enjoy!!!
