What´s the plot?

‘The Karate Kid’ stars Jaden Smith as Dre Parker, a 12-year-old whose mother’s new job takes him from Detroit to China.

When Dre makes an enemy of the class bully, Cheng, he quickly finds that his limited Karate skills won’t cut it. With no real friends Dre has no one to look to for help other than maintenance man Mr. Han – who happens to be a master of kung fu - and learns that real fighting skills come from maturity and calm.

Now he must prepare for the fight of his life, and face down the school bullies once and for all.

okay yes Karate Kid is about Kung fu so what even though of the title it still is a good film, again it is another emotional film and you get more involved than the original. talking about the original the new karate kid does follow the original a bit, even though you have got the car you dont have the wax on wax off lol, anyway it is a good film good story line got some humour and emotion yet again another good film

We all enjoyed the film, the children (11, 9,7 years old)still talk about it.
