***Oscar Winner***

From acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan comes ‘Inception’ - a psychological action thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb, a thief who is able to extract valuable secrets from people’s sub-conscious as they dream.

Cobb’s ability has made him a wanted man, but he is given a chance of redemption. All he has to do is plant an idea into someone’s mind. However, nothing can prepare him for the enemy that somehow predicts his every move. In a word where nothing is quite as it seems, the next crime scene really is all in the mind.

I recently had the pleasure to watch one of the best movies produced in a long while, Inception, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. At first I was quite sceptical, as I always am when about to watch a film with Leonardo DiCaprio as the leading actor. The acting was good, yet it will probably not grant him an Oscar. What really keeps you on edge is an intriguing story that does not tire you despite its length.
DiCaprio is a thief able to steal information from people’s mind by entering their dreams. He is given the opportunity to reunite with his children but, in order to do so, he will have to plant an idea in his client’s competitor head. As he cannot work by himself, because of his ex wife interfering with his subconscious, he persuades a young student to be his architect and partner in crime. Her role will be to imagine the settings of his enemy’s dreams for him. Nothing is predictable now, as they reach different levels of unconsciousness. Sceneries change before our eyes, physical obstructions appear from nowhere as situations literally turn upside down .
Rarely do I say this, but this is definitely a movie worth the price of the ticket and I believe it is to be watched on big screen to fully appreciate its action-packed scenario.
