What´s the plot?
A lonely man finds love on New Year’s Eve.

Wilson is a 29 year old who has just gone through the worst year of his life. New to Los Angeles, with no love life and no intention of forgetting the past, the upcoming new year isn’t worth celebrating. But when Wilson’s best friend convinces him to post a personal ad in the newspaper, he very quickly meets Vivian, a woman hell bent on being with the “right” guy on the stroke of midnight.

i stumbled upon this film not knowing very much and I was very impressed. The script is so fresh and original, its worthy of a Juno style hype. see this film and you will be impressed. I was.

I went to see this film because I read the review in Time Out, the review by the film editor was pretty great. So I thought I would check the film out fo rmy self to see if the film lived up to the hype. and yes reader. it does live up to the hype and then some. the script is super sharp. and very realistic. the acting is very realistic and has a real feel to it. but most of all is the emotions i felt when I saw the movie. it could have been written about the experiences that i have been through an the guys that i have dated. this really is a director who examines relationships and the people who hide behind them. see it not because its a sort of rom com but because it really exposes what makes single and lonely people tick. love it!!
