What´s the plot?
Oliver Parker, director of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ and ‘An Ideal Husband’ continues his stylish adaptations of Oscar Wilde’s work with this dark tale about the destructive power of beauty in ‘Dorian Gray’.

When Dorian Gray keeps his youthful looks and doesn’t seem to be ageing, people start to wonder how he maintains his radiance. They have no idea of the darkness that lies behind his beauty.

If you liked ‘The Importance Of Being Earnest’ and ‘The Shell Seekers’, you’ll love ‘Dorian Gray’.

Sexually twisted Movie

I thought this film had all the makings of a great story but I think it lets itself down. Alot of the detail is glossed over and only sexuality is given more importance over the actual plot. I must admit, I found it intersting but still left rather disappointed.

I was glued to the screen throughout. Not having known the original or the story, I found it fascinating and the acting superb. Very dark, manic but sensual.

I really don't know where to begin. Gobsmackingly bad - first film I have ever walked out of. Wooden doesn't come close to describing how bad the lead actor is, the story is completely different from the book, and it features all sorts of unnecessary horror moments.
