best remake

+++++

Reviewer: Matt_Venkman
Date: 25/11/2006

this is without a doubt the best remake ever put to film. Firstly because it surpases the original in terms of cast (another inspired Scorcesse head hunt) direction and visuals. However, the main reason this film is better than the origional Hong Kong action film 'Infernal Affairs', is that it takes what was an interesting, yet slightly trite concept, and turns it into a thrilling and exciting journey into the world of organised crime

Nicholson is as maniacal as ever, DiCaprio is further boosting his rep as a seriously good actor and continues to slot into place as scorseese's new Di Nero, Matt Damon puts on his best performance to date and there are some brilliant contributions for the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen and Ray Winston.

This is scorseese at his best. go see this film!!
