Having already seen the first two films, I was really looking forward to seeing this one. Not realising that Rachel Weisz wasn't in it, her replacement was terrible. The acting was poor, and she just didn't command the screen like her Rachel. There was no chemistry, and the story line was quite lame.
This just seemed to be, let's jump on the bang wagon of the last two, and make some money!!

i liked the movie but why did they cast such a rubbish new wife?! she didn't have the same chemistry as the last one..i didn't like her.
but the story was okay though many found it confusing. the son was waay too old for the part as he could have looked as old as the male lead which is silly. overall okay, i was a bit dissapointed but what ya gunna do?
Is this one Mummy too far??

Having thoroughly enjoyed the two previous Mummy films, I went to view this film with some expectations of going against the rather lukewarm reviews it has received. Unfortunately, those reviews proved to be fully justified. The film lacks practically all the sparkle and wit of its precursors, the chemistry between Rick and Evie is just not there as it was when Rachel Weisz was in the role and Alex looks old enough to be his father's brother, let alone his son. Talking of which, what has happened to Brendan Foster? He looks like he doesn't want to be there - in the film, I mean, not in the Mummy's Tomb. In retrospect, it seems like the whole film was designed just as a vehicle for a lot of eyecatching special effects and at that level, it suceeds, but to be honest, that is its only real success. I LOVED The Mummy 1 and 2. Sorry I can't say the same for this one!
