Took in this film last friday and dindnt n=kno what to expect given the mixed reviews. However was left feeling it was money well spent. Watching Mel Gibson as the avenged father was a joy. The film moved along at a cracking pace, action when it was needed but not overdone, it was a thoughtful thriller that left you feeling fulfilled at the end. It was one of those movies where you dont know where the time has gone. Enjoy.

Complex & Shocking

Most Dad's would get carried along with the emotion of losing a child and relate to Gibson, who gives a vintage performance. Some Winstonesque lines make it great for the English to enjoy. It's a complex plot with a few shocks, but all delivered with passion and realism. It's a must see.

Gibson back on top form

No dissapointment with Gibson back on screen, no love interest, no comedy, but a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What in fact was a good old fashioned thriller, and a very unexpected ending.
Great to see a film that is not entirely special effects..!!
