After watcjing this film i can say that Ben Afflecks directorial debut was a triumph, i have never read the book and thought that i would give the film a go, Gone Baby gone had a great cast which included Casey Affleck (Ben's brother) and Morgan Freeman. The story although pretty simple went off into different directions with a lot of twists and turns not just concentrating on the suject of the missing girl which made it even more interesting, you also began to look at the relationship between Casey Afflecks character and his wifes in the midst of the investigation. Morgan Freeman did not take a big part in this but never the less played a great role, after coming out of the cinema i felt that i had just watched one of the best films that i had seen in a while.

Supurb, one of the best films this year. Will become a modern classic along with LA Confidential and Usual Suspects. A film not to miss......

i saw this film a couple of days ago and it was fantastic..... some excellent acting and a very good story line........ i went in expecting it to be a very slow boring detective film.....but i was interested all the way through....... i also liked the fact that the story went off the missing girl for a while and went to a missing boy....great directional debut by ben affleck and i think if he is this good behind the camera he should stay there.... leave the acting to your brother ben : - D if u like films like this then go see it
