Being honest reading some of the other comments on this movie, i thought to myself they were hilerious, what movie is exactly like the book? maybe the director thought to mix it up, it doesnt matter about the breed of a dog or who is a better actor/actress in this, i personally thought cameron diaz played a strong and moving character i was very impressed as she is used to playing the role of a fun character and filming mostly comedy productions, if people are making their point important as to this movie being dissapointing i strongly disagree, this movie is well worth going to see! Its probably the most recent movie that has been released where i havnt thought "that was a waste of money"! i would deffinatly give it 10 out of 10!

This movie was the most moving I've ever seen. I swore not to cry, but did anyway..! But the tears were happy ones, because although the girl is dying, it shows how important love, life and family is. The cast is perfect, and they played their characters wonderfully. It was a very emotional and inspirational film. Go and see it, it may be sad at times but you surely won't regret it.
