Starring Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins, ‘Happy Ever Afters’ is a screwball comedy about two weddings which are held in the same hotel.
Skint and spirited single mum, Maura (Sally Hawkins), enters a marriage of convenience with African immigrant Wilson (Ariyon Bakare), while Freddie (Tom Riley) is remarrying his ex-wife Sophie (Jade Yourrell).
When the wedding parties discover their receptions have been double booked, sparks begin to fly. If that wasn’t enough, Maura and Wilson are being stalked by a couple of bungling immigration officers and Sophie, fearing she has made a terrible mistake, is hitting the bottle with some new found friends.
