I don't know what film everybody else has been watching, but I was completely disappointed with The Mist.
The storyline was weak and the 'monsters' were ridiculous- there wasn't even any reason for why these things had come out of the mist!!
The acting was also terrible.

Just came back from the cinema and I really enjoyed 'The Mist'. It was well paced, got straight into the story line and held my interest the whole way through. I found myself nearly jumping of my seat in joy when one particular person gets shot in the head. Only enoying parts were, when the monsters were about everyones stood around staring and saying 'Look at that!' instead of running in the opposite direction fast and after all the main dude goes through he gives up pretty easy in the end. Saying that he has quite a naff time. I would give this film 9/10. Go see it, you won't be dissapointed.

i havent cried at the end of a horror movie before. if you like a good horror movie and want to really enjoy this one then i would advise DONT watch the trailer or read any more reviews, just go and see it without knowing anything about this movie. i knew nothing other than the title and thought i was probably going to see yet another 5th rate non scary "horror". If you have ever read or seen stephen king's work you get your booty to the cinema asap. be surprised, scared, amused, disturbed and sad. dont go if you enjoyed the english patient and atonement.

A spare, creepily atmospheric ominous thriller with a death grip on the psychological aspects, Bryan Bertino’s brilliantly suspenseful directorial debut is enormously unsettling.
