One of the finest ballets of the Bolshoi repertoire, broadcast live from Moscow and presented live on the big screen for the first time. Although this new version is directed by Andrei Ratmanski, 'Les Flammes de Paris' was first presented by Vassili Vaynonen at the Bolshoi Theatre in 1933. Her reading of the tale of Tristan and Isolde makes poor love-sick Nemorino think that the wonder-working Dr Dulcamara might have just the potion his heart requires.
