Sixty Six is one of those British Comedies you just can't get enough off mixing humour, pathos and warmth in one splendid film.
The ambience is just right and even if you dont like football this film will connect with you.
I loved tjis film from startcall my to end - at the end of it I just wanted to call my Dad - it has that effect on you.

I haven't seen the film, but lived near Wembley Stadium, close to where this film is set. I was nearly 7 years old.
The long and the short of it is where would I rather have been? Inside Wembley Stadium watching the most thrilling England football match ever? Or at a Bar Mitzvah?
I didn't have a choice. I got dragged off to Wembley Stadium. Fantastic.

I took my mum to see this film, hoping it'd be the heartwarming, enojyable film it was described as. Sadly, although it tried, they didn't make one of the main storylines as realistic as they could, therefore the ending was a bit of a letdown to me. It's a good idea, but just wasn't followed through properly in my opinion. I don't know, maybe you'll think differently. It's an enjoyable enough film to make you feel you didn't really waste your money...
