If you are after a film which won't hurt your brain this is very entertaining film about relationships. THe star of the film is the young child actress who plays the daughter. Not a potential Oscar nominee in anyway but still a very good film (especially, I guess, for the ladies).

Now i feel that its unfair that the trailer is so misleading. It seems to suggest that this is a real comedy, and while it does have its funny moments this is quite a serious feel good film. I really didn't think Ryan Reynolds could pull off any serious role at all and some of his recent films have been quite frankly 'pants', but this has a lot of charm and reflection on life with the rapport between Ryan and Isla been fantastic , making the romance very believable. This really isn't what you are expecting and i would really give it a try, believe me i work in the cinema and we are showing some real rubbish and at the moment this is one of the few good ones.
Just not sure about this one

Don't get me wrong, this film is ok. It has sweet moments, funny moments, it has the ingredients to be a good film. BUT. I didn't get it. Yeah, I watched it and didn't walk out or anything but well, how could she not know who her mother was? He (Will) said right at the beginning that two days a week he gets to finish work early and pick his daughter up from school...where was she staying th rest of the time??!
And, he tells the story in good detail but misses out the fact he got married??!
Its lucky Ryan Reynolds is quite engaging in this.
I'm not going to overly recommend this film but I won't say stay away either. Its definitely not a bad film.
Thats probably no help at all....LOL xx
