Excellent entertainment

I took my 11 year old daughter to see this film, and had a great evening. She was engrossed all the way through and wouldn't stop asking questions about it. I enjoyed it as well and had a great time watching her expressions. Not an action thriller, but a well acted and sensitive portrayal of a very interesting time of change. Didn't really notice the time flying by. Has got me interested in finding out more about Victoria and Albert. Don't take any notice of the one star ratings, they'd be better off sticking to "Good Luck Chuck"!!

Let yourself be immersed in this fantastic portrayal of Queen Victoria's early years leading upto and reigning on the throne.
The extravagantly rich set and costumes are a feast for the eyes and make the perfect foundations for one of the best and also interesting royal dramas I've ever seen.
Emily Blunt is captivating in her performance as the young Queen and is equally matched by Rupert Friend's interpretation of the role of Prince Albert.
Definately worth seeing, beautiful from start to finish.
