ODEON SOCIAL MEDIA PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PART A - INTRODUCTION

1. These terms and conditions apply to the series of prize draws we run on our social media channels (“Prize Draws”) unless otherwise stated in the promotion.  This includes our Prize Draws on Facebook.com/ODEON and twitter.com/ODEONCinemas.

2. The promoter of each Prize Draw is ODEON Cinemas Limited (“ODEON / we / us”). ODEON’s company number is 01854132, and its registered office is at 54 Whitcomb St, London, WC2H 7DN. 

3. When entering a Prize Draw through Facebook, Twitter or another social media provider, please note that the Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, that social media provider. By entering the promotion all participants accept that they have no claim against any social media provider whatsoever.

PART B –KEY FACTS

4. Entrants:  Entrants to a Prize Draw must be aged16 or over unless otherwise specified and resident in the UK. If the promotion or competition is being run through Twitter or Facebook, all Entrants must be following the specified channel, @ODEONCinemas- on Twitter and facebook.com/ODEON on Facebook.]

5. Entry:  An Entry has to comply with what is asked for by ODEON in the message launching the Prize Draw. Guests must book 2 or more tickets through the ODEON Event Organiser to be in with a chance to win one of five XBox 360s with Kinect and action games bundle. 

6. Prize: The prize will be described in the launch message. 

7. The promotion will commence on 25th September.  The closing date for receipt of entries is 9th October 2012. 

8. Winners’ names will be drawn at random under independent supervision and will be notified by email as soon as possible thereafter, and no later than 16th October 2012

9. This promotion is open to all ODEON customers who are UK residents, 16+ excluding employees of ODEON Cinema Holdings Ltd, 20th Century Fox, their agents/families or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.

10. Entry to the prize draw is automatic once you have purchased 2 or more tickets to see ‘Taken 2’ on ODEON Event Organiser, we will automatically enter you into the draw. Tickets subject to availability. 

11. Offer is not open to guests who book via the Website, Box Office, ATM, Filmline or WAP.

12. The prize is 1 of 5 XBox 360s with Kinect and action games bundle. Maximum one prize per person. 

13. Prize is subject to availability with no cash alternative; also non-transferable and non-refundable.  The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time if circumstances make this unavoidable.

14. Any potential winner will be required to a sign a prize acceptance and release from in order to be eligible to win and/or participate in the prize. 

15. The prize winner may be required to participate in publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion with no recompense.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries. 

17. Entries become the absolute property of the Promoter and will not be returned. 

18. No trade, consumer groups or 3rd party applications acceptable. No bulk entries. 

19. By entering the draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. 

20. The Promoter undertakes to use reasonable efforts to maintain adequate email, internet and other communication links but is not otherwise responsible for and shall not be liable for: late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; electronic, hardware, or software program, network, internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, delays or difficulties; errors in transmission; or prize deliveries attempted but not received.

21. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend or modify the prize draw at any stage, if deemed necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

22. The Promoters decision is final in all promotional matters and correspondence will not be entered into.

23. In the event that the Promoter cannot contact the Winner within 7 days from date of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner drawn at the same time as the original.

24. For names and counties of the winners’, send a Stamped Addressed Envelope to ‘Taken 2’ Winning Names, ODEON Cinemas, 54 Whitcomb Street, London, WC2H 7DN for a period of 2 months following the closing date.

25. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

26. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
