The multi-storey, glass-enclosed cylinder, illuminated by coloured lighting effects at night, serves as a beacon to the revitalised South Bank.
The concession agreement will help to safeguard the BFI's income through guaranteed revenue, helping to sustain the BFI's valuable work across the UK. In addition, ODEON will support key BFI initiatives, such as "The Genius of Hitchcock" season through its channels.

Adult - Ages 15+
Available to those aged 15 years and older. Proof of age may be required.
Child - 14 years and under*
Available for those from 3 to 14 years. Babes-in-arms under 3 are admitted free of charge.
Senior - Ages 60+*
Available to those aged 60 years and older. Proof of age may be required.
Available to those in full time education if they hold a valid form of ID such as NUS, NUS Associate, or ISIC (which must be presented at the Box Office to get the discount. Please click here for details of how to apply for an ISIC card (this will open in a new window).
Tickets purchased using a student card cannot be transferred to any other individual. Only the barer of the valid student card may use student tickets. The student card will be required for inspection at the ticket check point and any guest in possession of student ticket without an accompanying valid student card, will be required up upgrade, or may be refused entry.
Available to any group of 2 adults and 2 children aged 14 or under or 1 adult and 2 children aged 14 or under. To purchase family tickets online, just select one of the "Family" tickets, which will automatically add four tickets at a time to your booking. Family tickets are not available for Event Cinema, special screenings and cannot be used with any other offer or discount. * Proof of age may be required for any discounted tickets.
Note that for performances after 7pm, children under 14 may need to be accompanied by an adult. For the types of ID accepted please see the entry "What forms of age related ID are acceptable" below.
References to adult above do not have the same meaning as adult for the purposes of the mandatory conditions on the exhibition of films relating to the protection of children from harm as contained in the Licensing Act 2003.
Yes we do have some special booking rates for schools and groups. Please enquire at the BFI IMAX Box Office for more details.
Encore events are repeats of live performances and therefore had a slightly different price.
The "Traditional IMAX" films tend to have an educational element and are substantially shorter (approx 40 minutes in length) compared to "Feature Films", therefore we charge a slightly different price for these performances.
Yes, however please check the terms and conditions on the vouchers as in some cases there may be some exceptions stated in these small print which would restrict their redemption at the BFI IMAX or for IMAX films.
You can use vouchers which have the BFI IMAX brand printed on the voucher (such as £5/10 vouchers or BFI IMAX Guest Passes) but other generic BFI passes are unfortunately not accepted.
The ODEON Premiere Club is currently unavailable at the BFI IMAX.
