About this Film

Combining serious themes with a dark streak of humour, 'A Long Way Down' tells the story of four lonely souls battling their way back from the brink of suicide.

On New Year's Eve, four very different individuals are each making their way to the rooftop of a high-rise building where they plan to plunge to their death. But little do they know that their chance encounter with one another at this notorious suicide spot will give them all reason to step back from the edge.

Based on a Nick Hornby novel, 'A Long Way Down' explores themes of depression and suicide.

A Long Way Down

Reviewer: SansepoirDate: 2014-03-25

We could not understand why people wrote negative reviews about this film. We found it well acted, a good story line, not too sentimental,a good pace and a definite resolution. Humour and bathos are balanced, and it wasn't depressing.
