Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie

ODEON says...
Eddy and Patsy are back for ‘Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’. In an attempt to become Kate Moss’ new PR, Eddy accidentally kills her, so they go on the run.

Now that they’re social pariahs, they can’t shop and drink their way around London as they’re used to. But just when life seems no longer worth living, they have a chance to escape to the south of France, where there’s nothing stopping them from living the high life forever!

Run away to the French Riviera with Eddy and Patsy for ‘Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’, which takes them on an adventure bigger than they’ve had to date.

So so

Not the best film I've ever seen - certainly does not live up to the hype. Saying that it was funny in places, laugh out loud funny on occassion. Overall decent enough entertainment but lacking the magic of the TV series. Wait for DVD in my opinion.

Disappointing

Reviewer: Butters Date: 2016-07-21

The first 2 seasons of the show were glorious, then it became silly & childish & two of the funniest characters ever created became caricatures of their former selves & this, sadly, continues the same approach. Sporadically funny but mostly tedious.

Ab Fab

I was bored. They were funny (at times) on the small screen but it really doesn't transfer to the large screen. I can imagine it now (Lets make a movie lovey, It'll be hilarious) It wasn't. I left after 30mins.In reality, a poor swan.

Amusing

An amusing, slightly nostalgic trip down memory lane with the Ab Fab team. Saunders and Lumley were at their usual outrageous best but I felt the story line did struggle a little and most of the funniest scenes had all been shown in the trailer.
