ODEON says...
It was just another day at work for Louise. But then she saw the news of the ‘Arrival’ of alien spacecraft that have suddenly, inexplicably appeared across the globe.

She’s an expert linguist who can fluently speak many languages, and the army have recruited her to help them communicate with the aliens. But everyone is frightened, unsure what the aliens intend, and she only has a limited time to make contact. And how do you even begin to translate a completely alien, unknowable language?

Why are they here? Find out for yourself with ‘Arrival’, a tense, thought-provoking sci-fi thriller by the director of ‘Sicario’.

Great Sci-Fi

Reviewer: JuliemDate: 2016-11-26

Really enjoyed the film. If you didn't get the matrix then you won't get this. Very clever and makes you think in a different direction to normal sci-fi. Agree Adams will be up for award. Worth seeing if you want to have your understanding challenged.

Phenomenal

Reviewer: JuneBDate: 2016-11-26

Staggering, amazing film. I looked at other reviews before I saw it - all seemed to be either one star, or five - which would it be?? For me, five stars, without question. Incredibly powerful and emotional. Hard to put into words - just brilliant.

Intelligent Film

Reviewer: Marko2Date: 2016-11-22

At last a intelligent Sci-Fi film. Thought provoking and clever. Shows you don't need wham bam and big reveals. Oscar nomination for sure for Amy Adams, really good

Such a shame

Reviewer: ZuummmDate: 2016-11-20

It looked a very interesting film but it failed to deliver. You patiently wait for the big moment and the big moment never arrives, left the cinema very disappointed and mesmerised with how bad and how boring the film was. Absolutely shocking!
