About this Film

Asterix: The Mansions Of The Gods

ODEON says...
‘Asterix: The Mansions Of The Gods’ is the latest adventure for Asterix and his village, the last people in Gaul to hold out against the Roman invasion.

Rome has failed to destroy the village again and again, thanks to Asterix and his friend Obelix’s superhuman strength. So Julius Caesar decides to change tactics: if Roman might can’t conquer the Gauls, Roman civilisation might charm them.

The beloved characters are back on the big screen in ‘Asterix: The Mansions Of The Gods’, with an all-star voice cast including Jack Whitehall, Nick Frost and Catherine Tate.

“ It’s a vibrant cartoon which uses cutting-edge 3D animation but is wholly faithful to the sophisticated plotting and satire of the books... This is the comic-book adaptation of the year ”

“ A funny-eccentric small triumph ”

My daughters and I have read all the books and seen all the films which we enjoyed, this films animation is best yet and looks amazing and still has all the all Asterix in-jokes, both my 12 year old and myself 53 loved this film

Love it. Lot of subtle humour. It's quality animation. Good story but not sure younger children will understand the concept of anti capitalism.

Story less, Character less, Moral less Nothing kids could enjoy and i was trying my best to keep them awake. Overall NOT recommended!!!
