Autism Friendly - Tarzan 2D - Book Tickets from 5pm on Wednesday 7th May
The king of the jungle swings back onto the big screen in animated motion capture adventure ‘Tarzan', with Kellan Lutz taking on the role of the young eco-warrior.
After he is orphaned as a young boy, Tarzan is taken in by a family of gorillas who raise him as one of their own. But when a ruthless new silverback takes over as tribe leader, Tarzan is booted out of the ape crew. Ostracised and alone, he teams up with fellow human Jane Porter to fight against the evil men intent on destroying the forest.
Directed by Reinhard Klooss, ‘Tarzan' also stars Jaime Ray Newman and Spencer Locke.
What makes the screenings autism friendly?
These alternative screenings are recommended to anyone who might benefit from the subtle alterations made to the auditorium environment. Films are screened with the lights turned up, the volume turned down, and with the trailers and adverts removed. People can feel free to move around the cinema or make a noise as they feel comfortable. Guests are reminded not to run inside the cinema and children should be supervised at all times.
ODEON Autism Friendly Screenings are designed to make the cinema experience more accessible to guests who might find mainstream screenings challenging. The screenings are run in partnership with learning disability and autism support provider Dimensions.
