Black Panther

ODEON says...
Welcome to Wakanda, the homeland of the ‘Black Panther’. An isolated, technologically advanced African nation, it’s a modern El Dorado – and now, T’Challa must defend it from an old enemy.

After his father’s death, he has become King of Wakanda and the new Black Panther. And his mettle will be tested by the arrival of Erik Killmonger and Ulysses Klaue, who want to overthrow him for their own gain.

The breakout star of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ finally gets a solo outing in ‘Black Panther’, with a cast including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o.

Coogler is three for three and MJB as Killmonger is on par with Loki. Beautiful visual movie with great story and dialogue. The futuristic tech country of Wakanda will make you want to book a flight.

Great movie!

Action packed and very exciting movie. Will watch again. The soundtrack is awesome.

Mostly nah....!

Very odd film. First hour is one thing (more James Bond than Marvel), rest is a different movie altogether. Poor CGI. There were audible sighs and snores in the cinema. Some great performances, soundtrack is vgood but otherwise a dissapointment.

A fantastical cultural diversion from the usual Marvel style that does with African mythology what Ragnarok did with Norse mythology. Great action combined with intelligent social & historical commentary make this movie a provocative watch. It's moral conclusion: cooperation beats conquest.
