Total Film - 4/5 Stars

Here's the full Frost-y…

When it comes to comedies, Brits do gritty better than feelgood – hands up who liked Cemetery Junction more than The Office, or Gregory’s Girl better than Withnail & I? So the arrival of James Griffiths’ sweet-spirited romcom about salsa dancing should be cause for concern. Until, that is, you see the cast list...

Nick Frost plays disappointed office drone Bruce Garrett, an “unstoppable salsa machine” in his youth who found that “the fire in my heels just went out”.

Nick Frost shone throughout. Sean McGuire was superb as his adversary in the pulling stakes. One man, very self deprecating and the other self delusional. Ian McShane does sarcasm wonderfully well. His interjections throughout were second to none. The dance scenes and music were nothing short of scintillating and in particular, when Nick's character was dancing with his sister the hairs on my arms were on end.

Wasn't too sure what to expect, but pleased to say I really enjoyed this film. My husband stayed awake, a sign that the film was entertaining. The music is wonderful
