About this Film

Director James Wan serves up a second dose of haunted house horror with 'Insidious 2', which revisits the Lambert family as they continue to be plagued by evil spirits.

Renai (Rose Byrne) and Josh (Patrick Wilson) may have warded off the nefarious ghost that tried to steal their son's spirit in the first 'Insidious' instalment, but the demons are still wreaking havoc on their home. This time, the Lamberts must look back into their own past to discover why they are tied to this parallel realm.

'Insidious: Chapter 2' also stars Lin Shaye (There's Something About Mary), Barbara Hershey (Black Swan) and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3).

Very Enjoyable

Reviewer: LUC4ZAD3Date: 2013-10-23

This film was an extremely intense and thrilling experience and I am sure the rest of the cinema felt the same way as they screamed. It was definetely better than the first one as it did not have the lame last part to kill the entire movie.

scary

i shat my pants so many times couldnt even feel what it was like to have a normal pair of boxers on.

Horror???

Reviewer: madpierreDate: 2013-10-08

Make sure you watch this film in good company because you'll never get back the 105 minutes of your life that you'll waste watching this mediocre attempt at 'horror.'

Top sequel

Reviewer: Godfather Part 2Date: 2013-10-04

Maybe not as scary as the original but a better film. It is more coherent than its predecessor and doesn't have a jarring comedic second act bit it more consistently funny/frightening throughout. All the cast are back - even the nice old psychic.
