Earth's sweariest heroes

While Kick-Ass 2 manages to tick all the OTT boxes (Naughty words! Decapitations! Gimp costumes!), it also suffers from an undeniably super-powered sophomore slump, and a tone every bit as imbalanced and crazily questionable as its protagonists.

Picking up weeks after the original's jetpack-tastic, bazooka-blasting finale, it finds its characters facing a world where more and more civilians are fancying themselves as masked vigilantes. Dave/Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) divides his time between buffing up and hitting the streets with budget super-team Justice Forever (led by an imposing Jim Carrey's Big Daddy-alike, Colonel Colonel Stars And Stripes).

Blaming Dave for his dad's rocket-related demise, Chris (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) adopts a subtle new alias...

Fantastic film with a great story line. Kinetic, upbeat and hilarious. Definetly go see! This is as good if not better than Kick-Ass.

Simply kicks-ass!

Ignore the critics – this film is superb! My brother and I were laughing from start to finish; the action was fast and furious, the characters were very well developed, the fight scenes impressive, the pacing perfect and twists and turns a plenty. We loved it more than the first one because it was, simply put, better. It was also one of the best super-hero films I have ever scene. Five stars.

Shock 2 The System; May Surprise Some Fans

Hi Kick-Ass Fans, If you haven't seen this movie yet but like me enjoyed the first one; it will be quite a shock to the system. Without giving away any of the story too much for those who do want to see it; there is some pretty hardcore violence that may make some viewers question how it came to be a 15 rating instead of an 18. Chloe Grace Moretz as Hit Girl is fantastic as always and there are a few comic moments throughout as our Heroes take on the new gang of super villans. But it's not for the faint hearted and is quite a lot darker than the original; it refers to rape, hanging and beheading as well as brutal stabbing and beatings which sadly all happen to the good guys in the film. Justice Forever inevitably do absolutely Kick-Ass in every sense of the word and the final fight is well choreographed. It also leaves you with an open end so there could well be another sequel. I loved the first one; but this was a little dark for me due to some of the subject matter. Will be interesting to see where things go from here if there's another movie.

If you are a big fan of the first film you will love this film even more, unless you only love it because of it's element of surprise. Amazing film, action all the way through, no boring scenes, and provides true escapism. A must see, please bring out a number 3!!! In some cases I can see the bad reviewers points but for me I just love both of the films and all the characters defiantly one of my favourite films of all time!
