About this Film

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword

ODEON says...
An iconoclastic reinvention of the classic story, ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ follows Arthur’s journey from growing up rough in the back streets to claiming his rightful throne. When he was a child, his father was murdered and his sinister uncle Vortigern seized the crown. But now the Sword in the Stone has revealed itself again, and the prophecy of a trueborn king is spreading among the people. Arthur must come forth and acknowledge his legacy – whether he wants to or not.

Guy Ritchie brings his unique style to ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’, a sweeping fantasy epic starring Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law.

Impressive ! !

Reviewer: The HuntsmanDate: 2017-05-29

King Arthur - Legend of the Sword was a visual feast, with great actors, excellent music and sound track with some very lovely humour. It is the sort of film that would be worth watching a second time as it is so rich. Really enjoyed it !

Although I normally like this type of film this was too over the top I got bored. I didn't like the characters voices especially David B. and the special effects were too silly for words. The director had to bring in a F word, why ?

Not bad

It's actually not bad. Much better than critics review. Story a good, modern take of KA. It is worth seeing.

A must watch

Reviewer: Jammy RocksDate: 2017-05-23

Due to the critics, I went into this film expecting a flop, instead I was greeted by what can only be described as an absolutely phenomenal film. This is definitely one of those films where you should ignore all the critics and go judge it for yourself, because I was pleasantly surprised at just how brilliant it was (plus it's Guy Ritchie, come on now). The action scenes were particularly impressive, and although I did not view it in 3D, I can certainly see why people have suggested to go do so. The storytelling is fast paced and there is plenty going on to keep you interested. Charlie Hunman, Eric Bana, Jude Law, and all the rest were superb throughout the movie. You are doing yourself a disservice by not watching this film, go give it a watch.
