Top film

This is a great movie, if you like acton and gun fights this is a must...

Classic - timeless - excellently acted

Reviewer: micksterfishDate: 2012-10-23

jean Reno's best role - plays Leon perfectly, Gary Oldman - brilliant portrayal of the most twisted cop in film (apart from blue velvet), and N Portman complements body of film by being a believable child - detached, but believable. Right up a crux point ... you will see if you watch it! A must see for anyone who likes a plot, bit of action and excellent character acting. Can't fault it. My daughter, 22, saw this for first time and agrees - it beats any of action & plot films - Brilliant film from Luc Besson with slight European taste in cinematography.

One of my all-time favourites

Absolute classic. Luc Besson sure knows how to make a movie. First movie I ever saw Jean Reno (Leon) in and he was brilliant. Gary Oldman is always brilliant but even more so than usual. I think this was one of the first films Natalie Portman was in and if memory serves, I think she was only 14 years old. Stunning film. I want to watch it again, but this time on the big screen.
