About this Film

Disney animation 'Planes' takes off where 'Cars' left off, focusing on Dusty, a lowly crop duster plane who sets his sights on becoming a champion aerial racer.

With the odds stacked against him and a most unfortunate fear of heights, Dusty turns to a seasoned pro for tuition and is soon put on the right trajectory to make his dreams come true.

'Planes' is directed by Klay Hall and features the voices of Carlos Alazraqui (Toy Story 3), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever), Dane Cook (Mr. Brooks) and many more.

Fairly enjoyable

Reviewer: AntheDate: 2013-08-26

I took my son to see this film planes today, as he is a huge cars fan he got really excited about this one too. He did get a bit fidgety at the start of the film, but by the end of it he was engrossed and thoroughly enjoyed the film. So much so he came out and pleaded for a poster for his bedroom. He is a fan for planes too now he wasn't disappointed.

Even my 5 year olds were bored

Reviewer: CefaDate: 2013-08-24

We all loved the cars films and was looking forward to planes... What a disappointment it was, just a copy of the plot from cars, and was very weak and had nothing to offer the audience at all. My twin sons who usually sit enthralled at the cinema were bored after 15 minutes and so were lots of other children in the cinema too. Definitely not worth the cost of the tickets.

Worth Watching for any young cars fans

This is an ok film, the children enjoyed it. Predictable plot to anyone that has seen cars but just not quite as catchy but still had the small people on the edge of their seats and clapping in places So I guess it does what it aimed to do and please the younger generation
