Worth Watching

Reviewer: HusdaDate: 2012-08-20

The film is certainly worth watching and I will most likely purchase this on DVD or BluRay when it comes out but I didn't really understand it all to begin with due to the previous films. Growing up I understood there were multiple story lines of which 'Spiderman' was written. Either way the film was really good and i'd certainly watch it again but didn't find that it was as breathtaking with the camera shots as I would have expected for this kind of film.

Amazing in name and execution.

I really enjoyed this new version of Spider-Man, especially as a big Spidey fan; this might be why I enjoyed it more than Avengers. I think Andrew Garfield's portrayal is closer to the original Lee/Ditko version of the character; he's more of an angry teenager and a bit more cocky; he also gets to use his brain. I also loved Emma Stone's Gwen with the interplay with Peter being funny and sweet. The rest of the supporting cast was excellent. They also really captured the movement and acrobatics of Spider-Man. There are some great choices regarding the re-telling and some niggles. I'm really looking forward to a sequel and may well see this again in the cinema! :)
