About this Film

In the privileged world of Oxford University, 'The Riot Club' follows two new students who join the infamous Riot Club, where reputations are made or destroyed in a single evening.

Adapted by Laura Wade from her stage play 'Posh,' director Lone Scherfig's film dives into a world of elitism and excess at a fictional dining society based on the infamous Bullingdon Club. As main characters Alistair and Miles drink too much and see the worst of aristocratic snobbery, they have to decide if this life really is for them.

'The Riot Club' stars Max Irons, Sam Claflin, Douglas Booth and Holliday Grainger. "

Disappointing

Reviewer: screenkeenDate: 2014-10-02

The Horray Henrys do not appear to have one redeeming feature amongst them. Thoroughly dislikable lot and found them tiresome. The scene of extreme violence along with one of the acts to gain entry to the Club was obnoxious in the extreme. Beware.

Disgusting.

Reviewer: Rocky2Date: 2014-10-02

A film not worth watching. About a horrible bunch of men, made me want to cry it is disgusting. And the ending is very confused and rubbish.

Terrible

Don't waste ur money watching this film. Instantly forgettable. Distasteful. Superficial. Poor story line. Lots of loose ends.

lacks substance

Not violent like others say but the film does lack substance. Leaves you confused at the end. Expected more from the film
