ODEON says....

Mildred Hayes’ daughter Angela was murdered months ago, and the police still haven’t made any arrests. To get their attention, she buys advertising space on ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.

With giant writing calling out the police on their failure just outside town, Mildred hopes they’ll finally make some progress on the case. But William Willoughby, the chief of police, has a lot of friends in town, and soon the argument between them blows up into all-out war.

A biting black comedy from the director of ‘In Bruges’, ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.

Great Film. I did not like the ending though.

50/50 just

Great cinematography but... It's a story about consequences that is far too self indulgent, screaming poilitical correctness and a childish over use of bad langauge. Great acting all round but I felt that Frances McDormand was a selfish bully

The worst language I and my wife have ever heard. Should be rated as extremely bad language. Very strong language is not a rating thats anywhere near realistic. Walked out after 20 minutes.

Wholeheartedly recommend! Frances McDormand is outstanding. The film has a healthy mix of drama, humour and grief. Perceptions of characters are constantly changed. Some may find the ending disappointing but I think it is true to life.
