Valentine's Day at ODEON

Whether it's a first date, anniversary or time out with a special one, nothing says ’date night’ more than a trip to the cinema.

With Valentine's Day around the corner, check out our top Valentine’s film picks. There's something for everyone - you can keep the romance light and swinging with cheerful comedy 'Cuban Fury', say goodbye to innocence with romantic drama 'Endless Love', or break the boundaries of love with Oscar nominated drama 'Her'.

Valentine’s Day at ODEON - because there's nothing quite like cinema.

Our Top Valentine's Picks For You

CUBAN FURY

In comedy 'Cuban Fury' Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz) is a washed-up Salsa champion who dons the sequins once more in an attempt to regain his salsa crown.

Resting on his Latin laurels has led to a rival dancer stealing his glory and his descent into overweight obscurity. But can he relight the flame and show the salsa world that the king is back?

From the team behind the Cornetto trilogy, 'Cuban Fury' is directed by James Griffiths (Royal Wedding) and will appeal to those who liked 'I Give It A Year' and 'Run Fat Boy Run'.

Released on 14/02/14

ENDLESS LOVE

Coming-of-age romance 'Endless Love' tells the story of two star-crossed teenage lovers whose reckless affair has disastrous consequences.

Jade is beautiful, privileged and somewhat naïve to the ways of the world. Against her parents' wishes, she begins an intense whirlwind romance with the charismatic David. When her dad intervenes and attempts to put a halt to the relationship, things take a turn for the worse.

'Endless Love' is a remake of the 1981 film starring Brooke Shields, which is based on a best-selling novel by Scott Spencer. A film for those who enjoyed 'Dear John' and 'Safe Haven'.

Released on 14/02/14

HER

Joaquin Phoenix fronts Spike Jonze's 'Her', playing a lonely writer who finds himself falling for a virtual companion.

After a soul-crushing break-up, Theodore (Phoenix) seeks company in a computer operating system, which claims to be so highly intuitive that it can adapt to meet an individual's every need. As he gets to 'know' the digital entity (a.k.a. Samantha), he begins to develop romantic feelings and the unconventional pair begin a relationship.

'Her' features a bevy of female acting talent, including Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde and Rooney Mara. A film for those who liked 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'Ruby Sparks'.

Released on 14/02/14
