Disabled facilities

An inspiring experience for all

We passionately believe the inspiring cinema experience should be open to all. When you come to see us at ODEON Darlington, we’ll do all we can to make you feel welcome and comfortable — if there’s anything you need, just ask one of your cinema hosts.

Our cinema has full disabled access, with the exception of Screen 1, so you can enjoy our great facilities — from scrumptious snacks to delicious drinks at our retail stands. All tills and service points have hearing induction loops. As you move through the cinema you can find fully accessible toilets outside Screen 2.

Our screens, other than Screen 1, are also fully accessible, with wheelchair spaces in each. All screens have infra red enabling Audio Description (film specific) or extra amplification via headset. As most of our screens are fitted with gradient-style seating, the wheelchair spaces tend to be near the back of the screen. All wheelchair spaces are accompanied by a companion seat.

CEA Card: As part of a general cinema industry initiative, all our cinemas accept the CEA Card which entitles the holder to one free ticket for their carer. For further information please visit www.ceacard.co.uk (opens in a new window).
