General Manager: Paul Dagg
ODEON Oldham began life as the Town Hall in the 1840's, and has had a colourful history, including the distinction of being Winston Churchill's first seat as an MP in 1900. Following a loving, multi-million pound restoration, many heritage elements have been retained whilst modern insertions have enabled us to create a truly unique cinema experience. We have 7 screens of film magic showing in stunning RealD 3D and eye-popping immersive ISENSE. Treat yourself to superior comfort with our Premier Seats and enjoy award-winning coffee in our spacious Costa.
We passionately believe the inspiring cinema experience should be open to all. When you come to see us at ODEON Oldham, we will do all we can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. If there is anything you need, just ask one of your cinema hosts.
Our cinema has full disabled access, so you can enjoy all our great facilities - from scrumptious snacks at our retail stands to soothing hot drinks at Costa. All tills and service points have hearing induction loops. As you move through the cinema you'll find fully accessible toilets alongside Costa, just off the main foyer on each level, and in two bespoke 'pods' in the heritage area of the building.
Our screens are all also fully accessible, with wheelchair spaces in each and state-of-the art Fidelio wireless systems enabling Audio Description (film specific) or extra amplification via headset. As most are fitted with stadium-style seating, the wheelchair spaces tend to be near the rear of the screen. All wheelchair spaces are accompanied by a companion seat.
CEA Card: As part of a general cinema industry initiative, all our cinemas accept the CEA Card which entitles the holder to one free ticket for their carer. For further information please visit www.ceacard.co.uk (opens in a new window).
