ODEON Luxe West End

Our latest cinema, the breathtaking ODEON Luxe West End opened its doors on 10 September 2021, bringing two new state-of-the-art luxury screens to the heart of London’s entertainment district.

Built in 1930 as the Leicester Square Theatre, the original ODEON West End opened in 1946, hosting countless star-studded premieres up until its closure in 2015. Now, an icon is reborn.

ODEON Luxe Leicester Square

Conceived and built to host Royal, European and Global film premieres back in 1937, the gorgeously Art Deco ODEON Luxe Leicester Square was renovated in 2018, making it the very first state-of-the-art Dolby Cinema in the UK.

The result is an architectural icon – a world-class and world-renowned cinema that anyone can enjoy.

ODEON Luxe Haymarket

First opened as the Capitol Cinema back in 1925, what is now the ODEON Luxe Haymarket was the first cinema to show the very first British ‘talkie’ (Alfred Hitchcock’s Blackmail) in 1929.

Every seat in ODEON Luxe London Haymarket is a top of the line, handmade Luxe Recliner, making this cinema an intimate bolt-hole for film-lovers, located in the heart of London.

Conveniently located just a three-minute stroll away from Waterloo Station - and the crowning centrepiece of Waterloo roundabout - the BFI IMAX rocks the largest IMAX screen in the UK at 20m high and 26m wide.

ODEON Covent Garden

The Art Deco (and Rock ‘n’ Roll) ODEON Covent Garden is a good-looking four-screen cinema inside and out, with an illustrious history to boot.

Formerly the Saville Theatre (opened in 1931), it was once owned by The Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein, and not only appeared in the Fab Four’s promo for Hello, Goodbye but hosted the likes of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Rolling Stones.
