About this Film

ODEON says...
Are you brave enough to enter into the nightmare?

'Hereditary’ chronicles the lives of the Graham family, whose matriarch Ellen has just passed away. And in the wake of her death, the rest of them grapple with their inheritance.

Ellen’s daughter Annie, her husband and their two children begin to discover frightening secrets about their ancestry, and the more they learn, the worse it gets. And the darkness they discover seems to centre on their teenage daughter, of whom Ellen was particularly fond…

A blood-curdling, critically-acclaimed horror from debut director Ari Aster, ‘Hereditary’ is a portrait of family history that takes a turn for the terrifying.

This film was all hype. The best bits of the film are in the advertising of this film. Very slow film was expecting a big build up to a great ending but no! In fact the producers of this film must of been on wakky bakky come half way through!

Let's see

I'm not a big horror expert, but I thought it was extremely tense and well acted. The child actress deserved more screen time though, as she was the creepiest by far! The only thing that spoiled it for me was the ending! WTF? Lol. Worth a look.

garbage, boring

up there with the vvitch for dullest film ever made. A new genre of horror where for hours nothing happens, set it to doom music and some people think they have witnessed a masterpeice. The people around me either laughed or tutted at the ending.
