About this Film

ODEON says...
Are you brave enough to enter into the nightmare?

'Hereditary’ chronicles the lives of the Graham family, whose matriarch Ellen has just passed away. And in the wake of her death, the rest of them grapple with their inheritance.

Ellen’s daughter Annie, her husband and their two children begin to discover frightening secrets about their ancestry, and the more they learn, the worse it gets. And the darkness they discover seems to centre on their teenage daughter, of whom Ellen was particularly fond…

A blood-curdling, critically-acclaimed horror from debut director Ari Aster, ‘Hereditary’ is a portrait of family history that takes a turn for the terrifying.

Utter pants!!

Was looking forward to this. Supposed to be sooo scary etc. Thought it was a bit slow to start with, but was all mediocre, the flippin ending was SO weird and had absolutely nothing to do with the style of the film . PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This film features incredible acting and is thought provoking. Its more complex representation of grief and family drama gives the film a different focus, as it doesn't rely on jump scares or too many conventional horror elements, which I love!

Terrible film!!

Absolutly awful, what a let down. If you enjoy watching overweight naked elderly people then go see this as that is what you see at the end of the movie.. VERY STRANGE!

A Deep Watch

A slow burner but a great film. It builds a great twisted vibe and does leave you thinking about many things after it ends which I really like. Not your very typical jump scare horror but a slow, well acted leap into madness. Impressive.
