ODEON says....
A is for ABBA...and so much more! Read our Mamma Mia! guide.

‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ picks up the story with Sophie pregnant, and not sure how she’s going to cope. But her mother’s story might give her some pointers…

Moving between past and present, we follow Sophie as she tries to come to terms with her situation, and also see how Donna did it all those years ago, falling in love and building a home for her family on their sun-soaked island.

You can dance all over again with ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’, starring Amanda Seyfried, Lily James and Meryl Streep.

The film is contrived. According to the 1st one: Donna's mother hadn't spoken to her since she got pregnant. There were photos of the 3 'fathers'. No resemblance! Continuity? Cynical money making machine. Ridiculous story. Gullible public. Shame.

Brilliant sequel. The cast was fab, particularly James as young Donna. To the reviewer who claimed not enough ABBA songs...LOL they were ALL Abba songs. :o) A few less recognisable ones, but they were a great addition, and captured the storyline.

I laughed,I cried,I didn't want the film to end. I love this film.Prequel and sequel all rolled into one.The cast playing the younger versions of characters were fantastic particularly Lily James, who was amazing.Hope there is a third on the way.
