About this Film

Professor Marston & The Wonder Women

ODEON says...
‘Professor Marston And The Wonder Women’ is the incredible true story of William Moulton Marston, the creator of Wonder Woman, and his polyamorous relationship with his wife and their lover.

He wrote Wonder Woman under a pseudonym, keeping his real identity a mystery just as his creation had her own secret identity. Because if anyone found out that he and his wife Elizabeth had a mistress, Olive, everything would be undone. And this relationship was absolutely crucial to the genesis of Wonder Woman.

An enthralling true story about three fascinating people, ‘Professor Marston And The Wonder Women’ stars Luke Evans, Rebecca Hall and Bella Heathcote.

As a fan of superheroes I was hoping for an insight into the man who created Wonder Woman. Boy do you get it. A good film but slightly against my sensibilities so I found it hard to like despite the fact it was very well acted.
