About this Film

The Nutcracker And The Four Realms

ODEON says...
‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ follows the adventures of Clara, as she goes in search of a key to unlock a box that contains a gift from her mother.

At her godfather Drosselmeyer’s annual holiday party, a gold thread leads her to the key – but it immediately vanishes into a strange parallel world. Clara will have to brave its dangerous Fourth Realm to retrieve her key and, hopefully, return harmony to the world.

The legend you know has a dark side in ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’, starring Keira Knightley, Morgan Freeman and Mackenzie Foy.

Lovely film Unfortunately the Cinema lights remained on throughout film, we were told they had to be on for children, there were only four of us in the cinema all adults. The sound was so low we could hardly hear the talking let alone music. Shame

My daughter and I enjoyed it, but I found the acting a bit dialled in by some people. The trailer was more exciting that the film. All a bit half hearted, but it looked very good. Could have been better.

Was expecting so much more, the start of the film set high expectations, as did the trailer, unfortunately once ventured into the four realms it all went downhill. Should have stuck to the original story.

Dazzling sets

Dazzling sets, but really a faiytale for children. Good to see Helen Mirren and Omid Jalili again. Also, expected more ballet. Did not recognise Richard E. Grant. Loved Keira Knightley as the sugar plum fairy.
