staying safe together

These measures will be in place in our cinemas for your safety, well being and enjoyment.

A Safer Space

  • We’re limiting the number of seats for sale for each film and guaranteeing unoccupied seats between parties to meet social distancing requirements.
  • We’re staggering the show start times to reduce queues and operating safe queuing measures with floor markings and cinema host support.

Safer buying

  • We recommend you book online for a contactless experience with all ticket checks conducted visually only.
  • We’re offering a range of pre-packaged food and drinks, with contactless till payments.
  • We will no longer be accepting cash, but we have increased our contactless limit to help you buy safer.

Enhanced cleaning throughout

  • We’ll have more frequent and more thorough cleaning routines throughout the cinema, with extra controls in all toilet facilities.
  • Stations offering sanitising gels and wipes with our compliments will be available at allocated points.

In the care of a well-trained team

  • All cinema teams have been trained on the new safety and hygiene measures.
  • Colleagues will be equipped with personal protective equipment - including face coverings and gloves.

Face covering in cinemas

  • Please wear a suitable face covering when you visit our cinemas, in line with government guidelines.
  • When seated in the auditorium you will be socially distant from other guests, and you may remove your face covering to enjoy food and drinks.
  • Within our Costa outlets, you may remove your face covering to eat and drink once you are seated and socially distant from other guests.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOUR VISIT

In England, anyone 16 and over must leave their contact details to support the NHS Test and Trace system. The fastest way to do this is for everyone in your party to download the NHS Test and Trace app now, and then simply check in when you arrive at the cinema.

In Scotland, anyone aged 12 and over is asked to leave their contact details to support the Test & Protect system. The fastest way to do this is for everyone in your party to download the Test & Protect App now, and then simply check in when you arrive at the cinema.

In Wales, everyone must leave their contact details to support the Test, Trace, Protect programme by completing a form at the cinema.  You may also check in via the NHS app but we are still required to collect your details on our form. We're also required to verify your contact details so please bring along identification, such as bank card, credit card or driving licence, for everyone 16 and over. We're not permitted to let you watch a film without these details.

How we’re supporting NHS Test & Trace

  • Please download the NHS App and check in when you arrive at the cinema.
  • To help the NHS fight Coronavirus, we’ll be sharing guest contact details with the NHS tracing team if requested.
  • If you’re unable to use the App, you will be able to complete a form with your details at the cinema.
